Ingrid Betancourt is on my mind today, besides Osama, of course. Just brought the book 'Even Silence has an End,' an autobiography by a lady who was captured by revolutionary forces of Colombia and held in captivity for six painful years in a horrifying jungle. The first few pages have had me. Waiting to finish it soon. Though it's a tome in itself. On the right is a picture of the lady.
PS: Read Mende Nazer's Slave. A must read. A true story of a Sudanese girl who was kept a slave almost all her life.
