Creative shoes

Alexander McQueen's shoes

While on the topic of shoes, I discovered a genius shoe-designer called Kobi Levi. A Jerusalem graduate, the Israeli-designer has given a new meaning to creative shoe designing. While Alexander McQueen has given us some incredible designs, Levi takes it to a different level altogether. Feast on these :)

Hey sexy lady!
The double-sided shoes!

Gaga's sticky-shoes!

Sky-high recently got a new definition. Who else but Lady Gaga could've achieved the feat! In New York shooting for Vanity Fair magazine, The Gagas stunned onlookers when she stepped out wearing 24-inch heeled shoes. Rather call them joker's half sticks! And she looked nothing less.
It wasn't just painstaking for The Gagas (she stumbled and fell during the shoot, Duh! but obvious!), also for her bodyguard who had to carry her around.

Talking about outrageous heels, The Gagas is known to have always made some shoe-statements. Check this out. American Idol had to censor these penis-shaped shoes worn by her.

See, how the logo has been strategically placed to hide The Gaga's modesty!

Scarf Dress

Scarf dresses - a staple Goan dress for tourists - has always had my mixed reactions. Some days, I utterly hate it and other days I am tempted to try. But do what I may, I always end up changing into a safer bet. What is it about the scarf dress that has something missing? Below are two images of the scarf dress.

Actress Soha Ali Khan sports a scarf dress

If you are the sorts who likes to stitch her own, check out the video by this Spanish girl, Gianny L, who not only tutors on how to make one but also how to wear it differently. Good work!

Hollywood copies Bollywood?

Is it a case of Hollywood copying Bollywood?
First is a trailer of One Day, starring Anne Hathway. The movie tells the story of two college sweethearts who keep coming back to each other or are circumstantially-forced to reunite each time.
Second is Hum Tum, starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherji. The two keep bumping into each other over the years only to re-unite at the end. Both the movies show one of the lovers getting married (In One Day it's the hero and in Hum Tum it's the actress) elsewhere only to realise his/her love for the other at the end. The only difference may be is in the fact that One Day shows their life on a set day, each year.
