Not that sick

There must be days , and I repeat, there MUST be days when you are sick. Not the thermometer-in-your-mouth sick, sick of working like a programmed machine. Dishes, laundry, vaccum, grocery (for NRI wives); attending to guests, maids, dusting, elaborate Indian cooking (for Indian wives). The last one, elaborate Indian cooking, is debatable and can align to both kind of wives (alas!!).

How sick you are is also proportionally related to how sick you feel in your head. Equally stressful situations include: Jobless or politics at work, lonely afternoons without husband or work-from-home husband, pantry full of guilty pleasure food or empty pantry. So, you are sick and then you are also sick in your head. Which means you are sick head-to-toe. Try telling your husband and God save you from the sick feeling you get when he says, "But your body isn't hot. Your forehead feels at room temperature."

  4. Oh that classic day of 'house'-sickness. The one thing that should work is to dress yourself gorgeous and go out for drinks with some girlfriends!
