Brit designer Vivienne Westwood wants all fledgling designers and stylists to pick up a tome if they are looking for success. Rightly said by the punk designer, now 69;
"This is the secret: reading. A young person might be talented and can make two great collections, but then they dry up. You have to have culture. If not, where do you get your ideas? If you don't understand the past, you don't understand the world. By knowing what has been done, you know what's possible."
One of the designer's line showcased way back in 1983 was titled Witches. Westwood had then mentioned her inspiration - A book on voodoo magic. I happened to see a few classic pieces from the collection. Particularly like the wool jacket below. So edgy!
